Client Need

Greenvale Silicon Pty Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of Agripower Australia Limited. 

The client owns the mining rights to the world’s largest freshwater deposit of diatomaceous earth located approximately 130 kms north of Greenvale in North Queensland.

Due to increasing world demand for superior silicon fertilisers and soil amendments Agripower have invested in a new 240,000 tonnes p/a processing plant in Charters Towers North Queensland as the first part of the overall strategy in producing in excess of 1 million tonnes per year.

Project Description

Mineforce were engaged as the principal contractor and was responsible for Project Management, structural detailing, concrete construction, structural mechanical and piping, electrical and instrumentation.

Mineforce and our strategic subcontract partners completed the works on time, without injury and to the complete satisfaction of our client.
